The Embellishment and Trims Lecture The morning session covers the engineering and understructure that give garments the required weight and reliable performance. Mr. King covers the different materials that help to achieve these ends. Secondly, the aesthetic part is discussed-piping, pleated edging, and the manipulation of the trims to achieve a perfect finish are then covered. This is a three-hour lecture held in the morning.
The Embellishment and Trims Workshop In this afternoon workshop we cover how to manipulate the trims by making a sample of the work. This is a three-hour workshop, which is all hands-on. You will leave with a sample of the embellishment which may be adapted to attach to the flap of an evening bag. Your registration* includes a kit, and a materials list so you have the option of purchasing materials for your next project!
