Program Descriptions

Browse through some of our workshop topics to see what inspires you. Gather your group of friends, colleagues, communities, or club members, choose a venue and date, and let’s put together your workshop. If you don’t see a specific topic presented here, just tell us what you want to learn and we will develop the ideal agenda to help you achieve your sewing dreams. We will tailor our wonderful sewing workshops to your groups’ interests, goals, and average skill level.

Whether it’s something on Pinterest, a traditional holiday project, special technique, or a new sewing skill you want to learn, we can help. Workshops are priced by the event with recommendations for skill levels, and maximum participant numbers indicated. You can select a convenient venue that is spacious and well lit with ample classroom seating and electrical outlets, or opt to use one of ours in Fleming Island.  We provide project kits when appropriate, as well as classroom supplies, and quality instruction. We also set up a Tabletop Marketplace to provide you an option to purchase sewing materials and supplies at very competitive prices.

Our Cool Stitches sewing events are so much fun, and so informative. Everyone leaves with something new! We hope you’ll Come Sew With Us!

School of Sewing Series

This series is so much fun. Workshops are based on Shae Henderson’s textbook, School of Sewing, our guidebook to work through a series of projects that will introduce and build on your body of sewing knowledge – and you’ll have great small projects to take home! We also review basic use of your sewing machines, standard sewing tools, and sewing fundamentals, which will be reinforced with each class. Choose one, several, or all workshops for your group. Ideal workshop groups are 3 to 10 participants. Projects are beginner friendly and fun for experienced sewists as well! 3 hours per workshop. BEGINNER
