You Can Sew: a sew-along workshop series

NEW! Welcome to our newest workshop series – You Can Sew.  This sew-along workshop series is designed to guide your group through a full sewing project –typically, garment focused. Along the way, you will learn tips and techniques that ensure your sewing project success. The result will be new and useful sewing knowledge, experience and confidence, not to mention, additions to your wardrobe! Bring a notebook as we will have great information to share from start to finish.

Projects are appropriate for advanced beginners (knowledge of basic machine sewing), intermediates, and experienced sewists who want to brush up or just like the selected project.  Seating is limited to ensure quality instruction. You Can Sew workshops will be conducted in series up to 15 hours of class time for a maximum group size of 5 people.

Our first workshop of each series is all about project planning, then we move into cutting and construction. Lastly, we tackle great finishing techniques and show off our completed projects. Remember to check out our for your materials, and our notions shop for supplies.

Please bring along your sewing machine, accessories, and users manual; along with a basic sewing kit that includes shears, snips, pins, pin cushion, seam ripper, gauge or small ruler, threads, machine and hand sewing needles. We’ll have extras, and our Tabletop Market is always open in case you find you’re missing something along the way.

We plan tables for sewing, cutting, constructing, and collaborating, along with ironing stations, and our Tabletop Market!

This is a fun, highly interactive series to help you and your group develop your sewing skills and knowledge while building confidence in your abilities.
